Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine aims to serve the global community with outstanding patient care, the latest in medical advancements and treatments, and a world renowned research facility.  Since our founding in 1962, we have felt a responsibility to render consumers of healthcare with the latest in advanced clinical and surgical eye care possible, with a specific focus on customer service.  Our experienced faculty and staff strive for excellence, earning the #1 ranking for six consecutive years for Bascom Palmer among all eye hospitals in the nation as featured in U.S. News & World Report’s annual issue of  “America’s Best Hospitals”.  We strive to continue a tradition of research, education and healing while providing each and every patient with excellent, comprehensive eye care.
